Furor Over the Fuehrer

~~ With all the Liberals’ convulsions over Gun Control and Concealed Carry Permits, Hurley the Historian says it’s amazing Kneepad Liberals aren’t celebrating Adolph Hitler’s 119th birthday today. After all, if there was ever a guy who believed in Gun Control, it was “der Fuehrer.” Our No wonder our Quote for Today Committee chose Hitler’s “What luck for rulers that men do not think.” ACLU Mouthpiece Scott Greenwood was really sad Cincinnati City Clown-cil said Nazis for Peace had to delay their scheduled visit to Cincinnati to commemorate the occasion. Maybe they’ll be in for Don Imus’ Birthday on July 23. But that shouldn’t stop the rest of us from celebrating. So now, from “The Producers,” let’s all sing “Springtime for Hitler”:

Germany was having trouble
What a sad, sad story
Needed a new leader to restore
Its former glory
Where, oh, where was he?
Where could that man be?
We looked around and then we found
The man for you and me

And now it's...

Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Deutschland is happy and gay!
We're marching to a faster pace
Look out, here comes the master race!

They just don’t write songs like that anymore.

More Politics as Usual

~~ Whistleblower Senior National Political Analyst Britt Humus says last week Hillary and Obama were complaining about each other, now they’re both complaining about complaining. The DNC is looking for more dirt on McCain, the campaign trail is getting bumpy for Chelsea, and Peggy Noonan says next time she runs, maybe Hillary will wear skirts.

~~ Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says Anthony Gutierrez, a top manager for Depraved DemocRAT Attorney General Marc Dann, is now the subject of possible criminal charges from a police complaint filed Friday by a female assistant in the AG's office. Dann hired Gutierrez in February 2005, despite Gutierrez' recent drunk driving arrest. On his application, Gutierrez wrote "none" when asked to list driving citations or if there was anything in his past that was potentially embarrassing to the state.

~~ Speaking of Buckeye Bewilderments, an Ohio highway patrolman who dressed in a Ku Klux Klan-like outfit while on duty and in uniform has been suspended and a second trooper who sent a cell phone photo has been demoted after the incident which took place on January 20, a day before the Martin Luther King national holiday. How come the Fishwrap had no mention of the incident?

~~ Maupin Mania continues in Southwest Ohio, and over at the Fishwrap, with only 230 more days till the November Elections, That Lying Plagiarizing Meddling Overblown Tax-and-Spend RINO Bitch Mean Jean “Hoffman” Schmidt still can’t get her name in the daily Fallen Hero installment. And Maupin County police officials are still guessing Rob “Fighting Furiously for Failed Legacies” Portman’s chances of getting President Bush to fly in to deliver the eulogy at those dignified, private funeral services at Great American Ball Park are anywhere between 5 and 90 percent (yesterday it was down to 7%). And with news that Bigg’s had donated $4,725 to the Matt Maupin Scholarship Fund, our Clermont Crusader wonders if are any of our Feckless Fishwrappers even mildly interested about how all that money coming into the Yellow Ribbon Support Center is accounted for.

~~ Hey, everybody— let’s see a show of hands for the number of people who actually believe Sharyn Cones didn’t know her husband Matt was growing marijuana in the basement of their burned out home on Squirrel’s Nest Lane in Colerain Township.

~~ What are Catholics saying about this year’s Happy Homo High School Day on April 25 sponsored by McDonald’s? We’re not sure about the Pope, but since St. Xavier is still listed as participating in the scandal, over at “The Flying Buttress,” Publisher Tomas de Torquemada has devoted this week’s entire issue, as “our most degenerate elements will don the prestige of their sanctimonious self-deception, and in a futile attempt to mask their enslavement to sin, jump willingly into this national game of Look the Other Way.”

~~ Dr. Harry Fry, the cardiologist who filled the whistle-blower lawsuit against Christ Hospital, was mad that he wasn't in the "in crowd" of Christ's cardiology group and wasn't sent references from their heart program. Maybe Harry wasn't sent references because of his personality. How many of Harry’s friends went to him as a patient?

~~ During a recent interview, did Dainty DemocrAT Mayor Mark Mallory really say St. Vincent De Paul was the only social service agency in the West End ? Good grief! Dainty is more out of touch than we ever imagined. How about the Community Action Agency, Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses, Land Co-op, Power Inspires Progress, Notre Dame/Americorps Mission Volunteers, People Interested in People, West End Emergency Center, West End Health Center, Carl Lindner YMCA, Center for Chemical Addictions Treatment (CCAT House), Lincoln Community Center, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), Job Corps, Justice Watch, Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing (CMHA0, Epic House, or the SARA-IRP House? We’re sure there are more, since Mike Morgan of the OTR Foundation has well over 100 agencies on his OTR list.

Bluegrass Bigmouths

~~ Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says is catching hell for his remarks about Obama from Conservatives as well as Kneepad Liberals whose offense at a white man’s use of the “B-word” knows no bounds. An item on the Desperado’s Page(Republicans Just Can't Keep Their Mouths Shut) closed with “It brings to mind an old saying, better to be silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

~~ Kenton Commonwealth Attorney E. Rob Sanders says the most amazing thing about the latest e-dition of This Week in Kenton Circuit Court is that there isn’t a single Bungals player’s picture in it.

~~ Bernie from Boone County wonders if the Blower be reminding those in Boone County seeking elected office that they must get permission from the property owners to place a sign on their property, especially those good locations along Ky. 18 and 237, and it may be illegal to place them in public right of ways unless everyone else does it?

~~ Meanwhile in Y’All Ville, Mayor Blondie Whalen say The Blower shouldn’t expect too much from our Summer Intern Program. The Florence Freedom has three spring interns, and you should see some of the drivel they write.

~~ The League of Women Vipers says according to their Official Whistleblower Bluegrass Primary Election Countdown Calendar, today there now only 30 more days until the primary elections on May 20, and most people are wondering when the campaigns will actually begin.

~~ Our good friend Bobby Leach says he likes the Kentucky Coal Miners Association’s new slogan for Earth Day coming up next week: “Earth first, we’ll strip mine the rest of the planets later.”

~~ Finally, has anybody seen a copy of the new five dollar bill? Print one out and see if they’ll take it at the BP station.
