The News Just Keeps on Coming

~~ What an unusual week we’re having. It started off with St. Patrick’s Day and will wrap up on Good Friday. In just five days, we’ll go from celebrating folks who get hammered and to those who get nailed.

~~ Speaking of nailing people, incoming Hamilton County GOP Party Boss Judge Alex Triantafilou (pronounced Alex) has a brand new blog and he just can’t wait for everybody to tell him how to do his job. Have at him! No wonder Our Quote for Today Committee chose, “Be careful what you wish for.”

~~ And has anybody told Alex the Great that Sharon ville’s RINO Mayor Virgil Lovitt attended Devious DemocRAT Odd Todd Opportune’s big campaign kickoff last week. What party discipline! And when Newt Gingrich shows up at Steve Chabothead’s $1,000-per-person reception at the Hyatt tonight, will Bill Cunningham be embarrassing him?

~~ And why is it whenever a host is giving a political fund raiser, Odd Todd Opportune's assistant Kathy Binns always tries to invite herself to it, for free? We’re sure Kathy will score a freebee for the Reds’ Opening Day, when her boss tries to embarrass himself as much as Cincinnati ’s Dainty DemocRAT Mayor Mark Mallory did last year throwing out the first pitch.

~~ In Washington, our DC Newsbreaker says according to the latest survey, when asked which presidential candidate they would rather have answering the phone in the White House when a crisis erupts at 3 a.m., McCain beat both Clinton and Obama. 55% preferred McCain to 37% who would want Clinton , while 56% favored McCain to 35% that preferred Obama.

~~ Hurley the Historian says on this date in 2003, the War in Iraq began with a shock-and-awe pyrotechnic display over Baghdad , and Defeatist DemocRATS in Congress immediately said the war had gone on too long.

~~ In Columbus , Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says according to the Boston Globe, for a party that loves to hate the Clintons , Ohio Republican voters have cast an awful lot of ballots lately for Hillary about 100,000 Rush Limbaugh listeners voted for her on March 4.

~~ And how about that story in the Columbus Dispatch about Disingenuous DemocRAT Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann drawing comparisons to disgraced former NY Governor Eliot Spitzer? In one of those Dann-as-Spitzer stories, Dann even boasted of getting a campaign contribution from Spitzer. The contribution, however, appears to have vanished.

~~ With only 230 more days till the November Elections, Senior National Political Analyst Britt Humus says according to Scrappleface, Obama is Quitting Bid to Become 1st Black President. Maybe he was embarrassed when people saw him Praising Reverend Wright Last Year.

~~ Reviled Flying Buttress Publisher Tomas de Torquemada says don’t think that Obama is a Christian just because he attends a United Church of Christ. The UCC, which thinks that Karl Marx was the Second Coming, is about as Christian as “Hussein.” Need a clue about the UCC? The Executive Director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, Barry Lynn, is a UCC minister. Need one more? How about Obama’s PC mangling of The Sermon on the Mount?

~~ Now for more mundane matters, here’s some good news for Greater Cincinnati : Steve Horstmeyer will be off the air until August. Not because he has frightened everybody this winter with his over the top predictions of death and doom, but because he left Channel 12 and cannot appear on TV 19 until August. We have the whole freaking Spring tornado season to relax and not spend cowering in the basement!

~~ Our Cincinnati City Hall Snitch says rather than blaming the City's overspending on snow removal, which by the way was more than three times the budgeted amount, on the weather guessers, he’d take a closer look at the City Mangler’s appointing a person who had never run a department and had never lived or worked outside the South as head of Public Services. We didn't notice any other local community having such budget problems. Think about it. Do you remember that we had unusually more or heavier snow this winter, let alone three times the normal amount?

~~ An article by a Fishwrap contributor appeared Tuesday in their online edition about a Lakota Schools teacher who has allegedly been disciplined for making repeated racial slurs to his African-American students. The Fishwrap refused to supply the teacher's name, but The Whistleblower will tell you. The teacher in question is Matt hew Waits. Not only did vague housewife Sue Kieswetter refuse to give the name of the teacher, she gave the name of only one of the three parents who complained.

~~ Woodward’s so-called Career & Cultural Tech High School needs $33,000 for a trip to New Orleans to rebuild homes. From looking around Roselawn, Bond Hill, and North Avondale the money could be better spent helping to rebuild homes in their own neighborhood.

~~ Senile Sheriff Simon Leis was in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, along with a mere 50 of his employees and at least 15 Sheriff's vehicles including one of his tanks and a water rescue boat. For a Sheriff playing the poverty card, we wonder where he found the money to pay for such a large presence at a parade.

~~ Perhaps the Senile Sheriff could take some lessons in modesty from Congressman Steve Chabothead. The only vehicle Congressman Chabot used for the parade was his own 1993 Buick.

~~ In a House District Dissembling DemocRATS like to tout as having the highest proportion of Black voters in any seat held by a Republican, you would think Little Leprechaun Steve Driehaus could actually find one black person to march with him in a downtown parade. Perhaps he holds the same racial views as segregationist Jeff Balding.

~~ Not marching was Dizzy Ghizzy Lizzy, who as we have reported before, was marching in the Gay Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.

~~ Did anyone else in attendance at last Tuesday's "Bench and Bar Social" hosted at the Empty Uppity Oprah Winfrey Campaigning for Obama, Under-funded, Ugly-ass Poorly-Planned Unnagraown Ray roe Museum Not-so-Free-dom Center by the Cincinnati Bar Association note the almost total absence of black judges and lawyers from those participating in the event? Was it a boycott of their own house? Maybe they were out that night raising the millions necessary for relocating the front doors at the Slave Center, now that the County did not pony up any more money for this over-taxed payer drain. The judicial Mallory brothers were both conspicuous by their absence, as were the convicted Clyde Bennett and "Mad Dog" Ken Lawson. At least the latter two had a legitimate excuse for not showing up.

~~ Last week we learned Metro CEO Michael Setzer had resigned in disgrace and was being replaced by a woman. Would our Kneepad Liberals in the Press be interested to know Setzer’s affirmative action alternate Marilyn Shazor doesn't live in the Queen City ? In fact, she doesn't even live in Hamilton County . We wonder how she gets to work.

~~ Leave it to the Columbus Dispatch to do a great article about where the money is spent on lottery tickets by zip code. Small wonder that our 45202 area of downtown with 14,000 people and an average income of $24,000 spends $500/ person on lottery tickets per year. Poor people have cable TV, food stamps, subsidized housing and money to blow on lottery tickets. Norwood averages $247 per person on catching a dream, North Avondale citizens spend $302 a year which could pay their heating bill! Hyde Park (45208) residents only average $16 per year pissed away on lottery tickets. They spend their money at Keeneland.

~~ The Fishwrap wrote that glowing article about "hospitalists" a week ago Sunday. "Hospitalist" is another word for failed or lazy doctors who don't want any responsibility. They get a fixed salary, paid by the hospital, and it doesn't matter how bad or apathetic they are. They aren't acquainted with the patient and it doesn't much matter what happens to that patient because the hospitalist isn't the physician of record. Private practice physicians love the idea of hospitalists because they don't have to take time from visiting the patient who's probably paid them over the years. It’s just another way for the hospitals to make more money and for the patient to receive less than the best care.

~~ James Chase, a music teacher at Holmes High School in Covington, was arrested last Monday on child pornography charges. The superintendent of the Failed Cincinnati Public Schools, Mrs. Buckwheat, is making calls to hire Chase. She wants to appoint him as a principal in one of her schools.

~~ After our article last week about the Failed Cincinnati Public Schools’ new SPCA principal, we are now being told that parents of SPCA high school female students are strongly objecting to the physical touching new principal Dennis Matt hews engages in when he's around their teenage daughters. They also object to the sexually harassing language he uses when he speaks to girls. One mother, whose daughter is a talented dancer attending the school, told Matt hews if he ever calls her daughter "sweetheart" and puts his arm around her again, her husband will come to the school and beat the crap out of him. Once again, are the teachers and other administrators at SPCA looking the other way when Matt hews engages in this behavior?

~~ And of course, John Robert Carlisle, the previous principal, still sits at home on his fat ass drawing his full FCPS salary, as he has since he stopped coming to SPCA last October.

~~ We're told by a former student at Wyoming High School that Eve Bolton, when she was a teacher there, would give big extra credit points to any student who worked on a political campaign. And of course, he says, Eve Bolton was then running for political office. He says the pressure was strong for her students to work on her campaign. And the Wyoming administrators allowed it.

~~ Our Astonished Andersonian showed up for the Grand Open House at the new Anderson Government Center . After wandering the spacious halls and looking up at the towering ceiling, she was happy to know her over-taxed dollars weren’t going to heat and cool that mausoleum. Maybe the trustees were supplying the hot air. When asked what purpose the Anderson Cable TV station was to the citizens, an "official lady with a newly coiffed teased up hair-do said, "It's run by a non-profit organization!" BFD! But has anybody ever watched any of those crappy programs?

Bluegrass Bargains

~~ Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says when Channel 9’s John Matarese reported local gasoline prices hitting $3.45 last week, the CamBoozler checked checked the price of gasoline around the world. In Oslo , Norway , it’s $6.82. In Hong Kong it’s $6.25. In Brussels , Belgium it’s $6.16. In London , England it’s $5.96. In Rome, it’s $5.80. In Tokyo , it’s $5.25. In Sao Paulo , Brazil it’s $4.42. In New Delhi , India , it’s $3.71. In Sidney , Australia it’s $3.42. In Johannesburg , South Africa it’s $3.39. In Mexico City , it’s $2.22. In Buenos Aires , Argentina it’s $2.09. In Riyadh , Saudi Arabia it’s $0.91. In Kuwait it’s $0.78. In Caracas , Venezuela it’s $0.12. And how much is it in Harlan , Kentucky ? Who cares?

~~ Did John Delaney, head of the public defender's office for Kenton and Campbell counties, really call Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney E. Rob Sanders’ attempts send his gas station attendant stabbing client to death row "mean-spirited and unnecessary?" That’s probably the nicest thing John Delaney has ever said about a prosecutor.

~~ And will wonders never cease. Last week Patsy Crowley actually gave The Blower credit for an item he stole on Political Backstabbers Day.

~~ How will you use that rebate the IRS just sent you a notice about? If we spend it at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China . If we spend it on gasoline, it will all go to the Arabs, if we purchase a computer, it will all go to India for tech support. If we purchase fruit and vegetables, it will all go to

Mexico, Honduras , and Guatemala . If we purchase a good car, it will all go to Japan . If we purchase useless crap, it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. We need to keep that money here in America , so the only way to keep that money here at home is to buy BJs and beer, since those are the only businesses still in the US .

~~ In 2007, five million of our older Americans had not signed up in the given time, for their Medicare, Part D, drug plan. They were old and confused, yet they were NOT granted an extension.

~~ However, the 12 million illegal aliens in our country were allowed to stay, protest, procreate, receive support monies, attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, have our teachers take 300 hours of Spanish as a Second Language and training at our expense.

THE GOVERNMENT MUST REALLY DISLIKE OUR GEEZER CITIZENS.

~~ And don't forget to pay your taxes. 12 million illegal aliens are depending on you!

~~ Finally, responding to Sunday’s “Who’s $4,300 Hot? Hot Line, one married guy (whose name you might know) says TV 12’s Sasha Rionda is “muy caliente!”

Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially Hot Tamales.
