More Really Profound Political Insight

~~ If voters stay away from the polls this year, our Kneepad Liberals in the Press will have only themselves to blame. All those so-called "candidate endorsements" you hear about are really turning people off.

~~ Today there are only two more days till the Primary Elections in Ohio on March 4, and Subscribers to the Whistleblower Insiders E-dition are all congratulating The Blower for yet another accurate prediction, this one said those endorsements by Skaggie Maggie ’s Idiotorial Board would be more biased and dishonest than ever. Do you remember last year when they ran 115 consecutive daily idiotorials masquerading as fair-and-impartial news coverage for Devious DemocRAT Hamilton County Commissioners Odd Todd Opportune’s and David A. Pepper’s Super-sized $900 million Feel-Good-Social Programs Tax Scam that would also include the GOP Sheriff Simon E. Leis Memorial Hoosegow. With enablers like these, no wonder the Sheriff has an Edifice Complex. At least this year, Skaggie Maggie didn’t have to order up a last-minute hit piece from Maya Ruin like she’d done the last couple of elections to justify her support for the most embarrassing elected official in Southwest Ohio history (including Jerry Springer).

~~ The Fishwrap does not support the values of the over-taxed payers of Ohio ’s Second Congressional District. So, they will use all their efforts to support the single most unenlightened, incompetent person they can find to place (as a Republican) in the halls of Congress. Their choice will then be a totally ineffective embarrassment for Republicans in general and Ohio in particular.

~~ The anti-Republican bias that Skaggie Maggie and the hippie strap hangers that are her idiotorial board seek to justify their endorsement this time by stating that "she not as bad now as she was the first three years." Now there’s a great reason to vote for somebody, if we ever heard one.

~~ When Cincinnati wanted to land Delta for its mid-west hub, we asked revered former Congressman Bob McEwen to pass legislation to add an additional runway to our airport and then sent him to 16 counties to negotiate moving the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Reserved airspace that was blocking Delta from locating here. Now, when we can possibly loose that very hub we are saddled with a little girl who jumps in front of the President with her autograph book as he tries to walk down the aisle to deliver the State of the Union Address and gives her guest pass for that prestigious event to Devious DemocRAT Hamilton County Commission David A. Pepper.

~~ The airport board that recently tried to have a discussion with "Mean Jean" was forced to wait for her to arrive and from the moment she entered until the moment she left, she never once "shut up." However, during that time she reminded them that she knew nothing she was talking about and was in no mood to learn. When one board member tried to tell her what they were working on and wanted to explain it to her she interrupted by saying............"Oh, I am against that. I strongly oppose that." Everyone that was in the room later agreed that she had no idea what was being presented and therefore she could not possibly be opposed, yet. The discussions with other Members of Congress went as you would expect when with mature adults.

~~ However, the girls downtown want an incompetent female in the Congressional Delegation and they will do whatever it takes to keep her there. Even if it requires front page puff pieces on Stan Chesley in order to pay him for continuing to do "Mean Jean's" dirty work.

~~ No wonder Rob “Fighting for Failed Legacies” Portman’s legacy is in the crapper. Does anybody actually believe him as he not tries to distance himself from WLW Hate Radio Trash Talker Bill Cunningham, after Temporary Hamilton County RINO Party Boss George Vincent’s official spokesman embarrassed himself and the Party and forced front-running GOP Presidential Candidate John McCain to go off message in front of the national press corps for days and apologize for our bombastic bloviator’s rude remarks about the media’s anointed one— Barack Hussein Obama.

More important than now trying to distance himself from Trash-talking Cunningham, Portman should now try to explain why he handed his 70+% GOP District to Mean Jean to ruin. Maybe that’s why our Quote for Today Committee chose Marlon Brando’s classic line from “One-Eyed Jacks”: “You may be a one eyed jack around here, but I've seen the other side of your face.”

~~ As the Official Voice of the Conservative Agenda, it’s the Whistleblower’s obligation to remind people that Republicans took a well-deserved beating on Election Day 2006 because they abandoned their Conservative Principles and the Contract with America , and in the end stood for nothing. Club for Growth President Pat Toomey says 2006 was not a repudiation of Republican principles, only the RINOs who were representing the Party at the time. Ronald Reagan would be wondering what happened to his once proud party. We can only imagine what Newt would say. And with the Ohio 2008 Primary Elections on March 4 only two days away, it should now be obvious to anyone with half-a-brain that Republicans hereabouts have definitely not learned their lesson.

~~ Debra from Anderson says it would be regrettable to allowing the week of the passing of a great man to go by without sharing her favorite William F. Buckley story. Many years ago, she settled in to read her latest edition of National Review. It was not unusual for her to read the whole thing cover-to-cover if time permitted. (This may have been during the Carter administration, which would explain her near-starvation for rational thought.) In the "Letters to the Editor" pages, she came to a letter from a man who was so angry about something he had read in a prior week's issue that the page was practically frothing. After going on about the specifics of what infuriated him so, he closed with a haughty, "Cancel my subscription." Buckley's even more haughty reply was just one line, "Cancel your own God-damned subscription." Now compare that with the bombastic buffoonery of the Hamilton County GOP ’s official spokesman Bill Cunningham.

~~ Covering the D-RATS in OH 02 this morning, we have perennial loser DemocRAT Icky Vicky Wulsin (Millionaire-Indian Hill), making “Quackwatch” (Victoria Wulsin Linked to Unethical "Malariotherapy" Experiments), a Cincinnati Beacon video showing Slippery Vicky Wulsin Runnng Away and Refusing to Answer Questions. Icky Vicky launched a website (and a TV commercial) to attack Republican-turned-DemocRAT Steve Black for claiming his Indian Hill mansion is a farm, which gives him a tax break, and Black responded by buying ad time to criticize Wulsin for her alleged ties to malariotherapy. It’s a shame one of these Disgraceful DemocRATS has to lose.

Our Clermont Crusader says he laughed out loud when he got this mailer yesterday: RINO Rudd-appointed Schmidt successor Joe Uecker chumming it up with party puppet Ed Humphrey while promising to "end politics as usual" in Clermont County ! The picture was taken just before Joe and Ed hit the buffet line.

~~ Another Clermont County Crusader says while Beth Neville is an idiot, she was not the one who spearheaded that ill-fated communications project in Wednesday’s Blower. That would be the arrogant asshole Ralph Justice. Not only was he responsible for this $500K blunder, Crusader II believes he was also responsible for the GEAC fiasco. The 1994-1995 project was a 1.8 million dollar project. During the implementation of the software (that later became GEAC) the original company went bankrupt. Of course the current Valor software was funded by funds from Homeland Security under the "interoperability" requirement. But NECC decided (before the county threw out Valor) to switch to another software vendor because they were tired of waiting on the county. Of course Union Township has been using a different software. Now the county is not "interoperable." Guess they will have to give the money back? With the two software issues and the numerous lies Ralph has been responsible for, Crusader II says he should be fired. Maybe Ralph has naked pictures of somebody!

When Kneepad Liberals in the Press show pictures of illegal rallies for the Failed Cincinnati Public $chools humongous tax levy, like the one staged on Fountain Square at 12:15 Friday afternoon, don’t they ever ask if these kids and the teachers supervising them are supposed to be in the schools that we are already paying for, rather than trying to waste more over-taxed payers’ money?

~~ Do you remember when The Blower told you about Turner Construction Company’s $10,000 contribution to the Failed Cincinnati Public $chools to put something over on the over-taxed payers at the March 4 election? It seems Turner Construction hired Monarch Construction to do some work on the new FCPS Shroder High School . Monarch in turn hired ABC Masonry, who had illegal immigrants on its crews. The four Mexican illegal immigrant men murdered in December in Sharon ville worked for ABC Masonry. What a tangled web Turner Construction weaves with the Cincinnati Public Schools. Was the $10,000 part of a kickback deal?

~~ REAL Colerain Republicans say they couldn’t care less that Jeff Ritter nominated Joe Wolterman for the meaningless position of Board Vice President, to no longer embarrass the community with four-hour drunken tirades from Fiedeldey on the dais. Ritter has been a REAL Republican since birth, while Fiedeldey was a Democrat until he bought the endorsement to further his Sierra Club agenda for Colerain. No one in their right mind could support the worst elected official in Colerain history and self-appointed king, Bernie Fiedeldey. The fact that Fiedeldey is the senior member of the Board only means that he's screwed things up for the longest period. The only constituency Fieldedey has left are the country hicks who despise development and who are happy to shop at Wal Mart and eat at McDonalds. The only business they support is Fiedeldey's in the floodplain. Thank God we finally have someone in Colerain like Ritter who has the rocks to stand up to Fiedeldey and his obstructionist agenda."Calm Colerainer" was also wrong about Ritter being "recruited" to run for Trustee in 2005; he sought the endorsement.

~~ Hurley the Historian says on this date in 1807 Congress abolished the African slave trade, but according to anti-taxers, the Empty Uppity Oprah Winfrey Campaigning for Obama, Under-funded, Ugly-ass Poorly-Planned Unnagraown Ray roe Museum Not-so-Free” dom Center “Permanent Enslaves of the Over-Taxed Payers of Hamilton County.”

~~ Finally, in our political dirty tricks department, where Hamilton County RINO Party Headquarters has still not condemned those false and misleading TV commercials that imply that a candidate has been ENDORSED by the Republican Party for the open 34th District State Representative seat, a last-minute hit piece sent out by the same “not really endorsed” candidate outraged a lot of Andersonians on Friday. One such Angry Andersonian was respected Township Trustee Al Peter, who sent this e-mail to his friends, neighbors, and colleagues:

I recently sent the email below to Greg Delev in response to a mailer he sent out slamming Russ Jackson. The assertions and implications in the mailer a wrong and represent the kind of political activity we DO NOT want in Anderson . I have known and worked with Russ for almost a decade and I have found him to be one of the most honest, hardworking, and dedicated public servants I have ever met. He does not deserve this kind of treatment.

Please vote for Russ for State Rep next Tuesday. Russ will serve us well in Columbus.

Al Peter

(Sent 02-29-08)

Greg,

I am incensed by your recent mailer slamming Russ Jackson as ‘“Tax’N” Jackson ’. It is first of all wrong, secondly is not factual, and thirdly represents one of the lowest forms of political dirty tricks. I believed that you were above this as most are in Anderson , but I guess that winning at all costs is more important to you than being honorable. I can have no respect for anyone perpetrating or condoning this sort of behavior.

To wit (things you should know, but apparently do not, and had you been attending trustee meetings you might have learned):

1. The new Anderson Center has not been built with tax dollars, but rather with TIFF funds that do not increase any taxpayer’s real estate bill, monies that otherwise would have been spent outside of Anderson by the County.

2. Russ, Peggy, and I are extremely frugal and responsible with the tax revenues in our care. For example, we stretch levies well beyond the original projections. Russ has been a leader in advocating such tax levy stretching. Most of our levy money is not indexed for inflation, but our expenses go up anyway. By State law TIFF funds can only be spent on capital projects, not for operating expenses, so levies are necessary to cover basic services, which are primarily labor related.

3. Even with the levy stretching we have maintained services and augmented our projects with millions of grant dollars to benefit the taxpayers of Anderson .

4. The Anderson Center is primarily for use of the community with the theater, public meeting spaces, Anderson History Room, and Emergency Operations Center comprising more than half of the square footage. Much of the rest is dedicated to activities benefiting the community, such as the Chamber and ACT (from each of which the township receives payment).

5. The long term upkeep and maintenance of the center will be largely covered by fees from usage of the facility.

6. Township Trustees do not even have offices in the new facility. We will use conference rooms or public meeting spaces for meetings with constituents and staff.

7. In surveys of Anderson taxpayer opinion on Fiscal responsibility, we have consistently scored very high, most recently being 87% favorable.

Your assertions of fiscal irresponsibility on our part are outrageous and simply not true. You owe Russ and all of the hardworking staff of the Township Government a retraction and apology for the bold-faced allegations in this mailer. Had you bothered to investigate the real situation you would have uncovered the facts above.

I will actively encourage everyone I know to vote against you on Tuesday and I hope your tactics will galvanize many others to do the same.

Albert F. Peter

Anderson Township Trustee

Now that’s what we call a freaking endorsement!

Bluegrass Bluster

~~ Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says Kenton Kounty voters can always tell when the judicial campaign season is heating up because press releases featuring Kenny "Lil' Spout" Easterling start springing from Scarry Garry Edmondson's office, like the one about that three year old little girl who was the subject of an emergency removal hearing in Kenton County after the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital notified Kenton County officials that the child was covered in bruises, sustained two fractures to the left arm, had bleeding on her brain, and was found to have an alcohol level of .15 - twice the legal limit in Kentucky.

~~ Speaking of children, we would encourage anyone with children or grandchildren in Kentucky Schools with a ranking of # 48 to view the two short videos on the KY Politics Web site. The first presentation is by Dawn Hills , a fifth grade teacher from Ft. Thomas, and the second is by Senate President David Williams. We would say Senator Williams does not receive a lot of contributions from the teachers union.

~~ Our Covington City Hall Snitch says he’s heard rumors that John Jay Faucet, Bill Moller, and Bob Due were being investigated for misappropriating 911 money to the Drees pavilion. Why don't they use a public works employee or a recreation employee as an interim fire department chief?

~~ Another Covington City Hall Snitch says that "Nubile" assistant to Public Works is not the one who takes 2-hour lunches!! That observer is checking out the wrong lady!!

~~ Finally, we understand Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane is now buying up all those bootleg copies of that Flashlight Theatre Music Video. Please do not watch it.
