Nobody’s Perfect
Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders reports many people say the ongoing
sanctioned and ever-increasing sex situation and cronyism going on in Depraved DemocRAT Attorney General Marc Dann’s office is outrageous and
unacceptable. Dann, who is married, himself admitted Friday to having a
sexual affair with a young worker in his office, most likely Jessica Utovich,
who voluntarily resigned Friday. Dann also fired several staff members, including
the "boink the babes and bang up state vehicles" idiot Anthony
Gutierrez and Leo Jennings, who tried to interfere with witnesses in the
investigation. But Dann feels he should stay in office. Every
newspaper in the state says Youngstown
thug Marc Dann needs to resign and resign now! They ask why Gay-venor Ted
Strickland is allowing this travesty of Dann's "raunchy frat pad" to
continue.
Let’s look at some of the evidence. Here's a review of some of Depraved DemocRAT Attorney General Marc Dann’s travesties while in office, as previously reported by the Blower:
Dann was forced to fire Elrico
Alli, Ohio Director of Law Enforcement Operations, a former sergeant with the
Youngstown police department in April, 2007 after it was revealed that Alli was
secretly and simultaneously drawing two large salaries, one from the State and
one from the Youngstown
police department.
Anthony Gutierrez seems to be
the worst transgressor, but it's a contest. It is the married Gutierrez
who is the focus of the two female employees' substantiated complaints of
sexual harassment. It has been established Gutierrez has crashed his
state-owned vehicle at least three times without reporting the accidents. One
of the incidents was when he crashed into the pickup truck owned by the father
of one of the complainants.
It turns out the two 26-year
old women, Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout who were provided with jobs in our
DemocRAT Delta House and who recently filed sexual harassment charges against a
male employee, Anthony Gutierrez, were telling things exactly as they were.
The women have not dropped
their charges and are free to file lawsuits on their complaint. Stout had been
involuntarily transferred out of the office and will be reinstated to her
previous job.
Stankoski's desk was recently
ransacked and employee Leo Jennings interfered with witnesses in the case.
Additional information shows
Dann lives two houses down from Gutierrez and his wife in suburban
Youngstown . Dann hired
Gutierrez for the state job shortly after taking office in 2007 even though a
background check showed 27 tax liens and civil judgments and a personal
bankruptcy. Dann also had picked up Gutierrez from a drunken-driving arrest in
September 2006 in which Gutierrez' blood-alcohol content was nearly twice the
legal limit. Gutierrez may have also worked a private job on state time.
Dann's driver, David Nelson,
had to be fired for failing to disclose a manslaughter conviction. Dann's
next driver carried a gun without a permit.
Dann hired Ed Simpson as his
Chief of Staff at the Attorney General's office even though Simpson has no
legal experience. But Simpson had once worked with Dann's wife at the
Warren Tribune Chronicle. Simpson resigned Thursday evening before being
fired.
Leo Jennings III, Dann's
communications director, wrongfully tried to influence witnesses in the
internal probe, including attorney Jennifer Urban and was fired Friday.
Dann hired Steve Lamantia as
superintendent of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation even though
Lamantia's management skills were the subject of a scathing highly critical
report by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police.
Dann hired Brian Laliberte as
deputy first assistant attorney general after Laliberte did some work with
Dann's Youngstown
law office. Laliberte resigned in January of 2008.
Dann hired Ruth Wilkes, who is
engaged to Dann's crony and political adviser Michael Harshman. Harshman
and Wilkes are now accused of providing a private jet for assistant Craig
Mehall and not reporting it.
Dann sent crony Craig Mehall,
who is only licensed to practice law in Illinois, to
Washington D.C.
as a liaison from the Ohio Attorney General's office. No other of the
remaining forty-nine states have Washington
offices. Mehall, 40, earns $98,000 per year and does very little, and he
enjoys his assignment.
Other questionable Dann
hirings are Mahoning Valley crony and labor leader James Kastor, Dann's law
firm office assistant Sarah Twyford, pal Christopher Geinder, who worked with
Dann's wife at the Tribune Chronicle and three workers from Dann's 2006
campaign.
Dann purchased at state
expense a luxury $40,000 SUV with heated leather seats from a
Warren , Ohio
car dealer who was a Dann campaign contributor and wrongly used it to travel to
political events.
Dann used a state-owned plane
to travel to political events.
Dann allowed state worker
Dwight Aspacher, assigned to work in Warren County, to remain on paid leave for
eight months after it was established the married Aspacher showed naked
pictures of himself to a female co-worker and forced her to perform sex acts on
him. Dann only fired Aspacher this month after sex charges were brought
against Columbus
office workers and himself.
When Dann's wife Alyssa
decided not to accompany her husband on a trip to Turkey
in June, 2007, paid for by the Ohio
Association of Chiefs of Police, Dann, 46, quickly invited bimbo staffer
Jessica Utovich, 28, to accompany him, billing federal homeland security for
the plane fare. Because of problems obtaining her passport on short
notice, sex buddy Utovich didn't get to make the trip with Dann. Instead,
Dann took another female, Tomi Doris, with him.
Wording in multiple e-mails
between Jessica Utovich, 28, and Attorney General Dann, 46, indicated they have
a close personal relationship, even before Dann admitted the sexual liaison on
Friday.
But Dann doesn't think he
should resign. It will be difficult for Gay-venor Ted Strickland to
convince Dann to resign, since Dann is a public official elected by the voters
of Ohio .
We know Depraved DemocRAT Ohio
Attorney General Marc Dann gained his office through the election in
2006. But how did he get his party's nomination? His challenger in
the approaching 2006 Democratic primary was Subodh Chandra, the general
counsel, or law director, of the City of Cleveland .
Chandra oversaw an 82-attorney office in both criminal and civil matters.
He also served as acting mayor in the mayor's absence. Under
Chandra’s leadership, Cleveland
handled legal work in-house, and moved vigorously through in-house
investigations to clean up corruption, including bribery schemes involving city
inspectors and purchasing officials. With a focus on excellence and
accountability, Chandra restored the reputation of the department, and
attracted top performers who helped make it the most successful law group of
its size or larger in Ohio .
Chandra had previously been a federal prosecutor who successfully fought
healthcare fraud and corruption. He was an ideal and very qualified
candidate. So what happened? Dann didn't want to enter the primary
with an opponent for the party nomination and Chris Redfern, the
Ohio DemocRAT party chairman
with an ongoing sex scandal of his own, decided to cast his lot with
Dann. The fix was in. Dann and Redfern strong-armed Chandra, an
Indian-American with photogenic infant triplet sons, to drop out of the primary
race and Dann ran as the unchallenged DemocRAT. It was a sad day for
Ohio when Marc Dann was elected
Ohio Attorney General in November of 2006.
You may remember from reading
The Blower, Subodh Chandra was one of the people sexually propositioned at a
gathering at the Twentieth Century theater by Ditzy DemocRAT Icky Vicky Wulsin
(Millionaire-Indian Hill) during the 2006 primary and it should be noted
Chandra had the grace to be embarassed by Wulsin's indecent proposal and turned
her down. Wulsin would have had better luck if she had asked Dann,
although Dann has shown his affinity for the Twenty-Somethings.
With credit to Wikipedia, other controversies about Marc
Dann relate to his questionable support of Capri Silvestri
Cafaro's successful bid to fill Dann's unexpired term in the
Ohio state senate in
2004 when she was just 27 years old. Cafaro, heiress to part of the
Cafaro shopping-mall empire, had never won election to office. In addition,
Cafaro's father, J.J. Cafaro, had pleaded guilty in 2001 to bribing
then-Congressman James Traficant of
Youngstown to push legislation that
would benefit his aviation equipment company. Capri Cafaro, then in her early
20's, was president of the aviation company but was not charged with any
wrongdoing. In a related trial, Capri
testified she had never conspired with Traficant. As of October, 2006, the
Cafaro family had contributed $30,500 to Dann's campaign for attorney general,
in addition to the $26,000 they had donated to his state Senate campaigns. Of
that money, $10,000 came from J.J. Cafaro. Dann defended his recommendation of
Capri Cafaro by saying he believed she was the only
qualified candidate to replace him. Sure, uh huh.
Dann faced criticism from the
Mansfield News Journal and
others for loudly and publicly telling Warren Tribune-Chronicle reporter Steve
Oravecz to perform an anatomically impossible act at a fundraiser for
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Dann was upset about an article
Oravecz had written entitled "Locals With Ties to Dann Get Jobs." The
article described how two people with ties to Dann's election campaign,
including a woman who he raised as a daughter, were given state jobs. The incident was caught on
video when Dann dropped the F-bomb.
As you would expect, all over
Ohio , Republicans are
calling for Marc Dann to resign.
Ohio GOP Chairman Boob Bennett has stated: "Marc Dann has been proving himself unfit for the job of attorney general since he took office, and Friday's admissions are just further confirmation of that fact. The lying, mismanagement, and cronyism that Dann and his senior aides engaged in are an utter embarrassment to the people of Ohio . His disgraceful conduct not only exposes him as a fraud and a hypocrite, but it highlights a complete failure on the part of Democratic leaders to adhere to the standard they promised to Ohioans."
Deputy Ohio Republican
Chairman Kevin DeWine has called for Dann to step down, saying: "Marc Dann
failed the people of Ohio, and he must resign immediately/" The state's
top law enforcement officer has allowed immoral, unethical and even criminal
behavior to thrive under his own supervision and at times with his own
participation. He turned the attorney general's office into a raunchy frat pad,
lied to the press and lied to his own investigator. It's simply not acceptable
that everyone but Dann himself will be held accountable."
However, one local Republican
is quoted by Huggable Howard in Sunday’s Fishwrap, as being
non-condemning of Dann. State Senator Bill “The Ethnic Cleanser”
Seitz of Green Township
was quoted as saying, "As far as I am concerned, it's between Marc Dann,
his wife and the voters of Ohio ."
There are impeachment provisions in Ohio 's
constitution, but, at this point, Seitz said, there is "no reason even to
bring it up." “What's the crime?" Seitz asked. "A
relationship with an employee is unseemly, yes, but it's not a crime.”
"From a [Republican]
political standpoint, it's probably best to have Marc Dann around for a
while," Huggable also quote Mark Weaver, a
Columbus GOP political consultant who used to
work for Betty Montgomery, Dann's opponent in the 2006 election. Weaver came to
Cincinnati on Saturday to teach a class at the Hamilton County Republican
Party's First Annual RINO-free
Campaign School, where the Hamilton County GOP is guaranteeing attendees double their money back if they
don’t win their next election. Weaver said Friday that he
would have one piece of advice for all of his students. 'Get your opponent on
the record about Marc Dann," Weaver said. "Make him or her answer the
question.' "
But in the Friday
Fishwrap, not a single local Disingenuous DemocRAT was willing to accept the
obvious and call for Dann’s resignation (Pepper and Portune; Sherrod
Brown; Dainty DemocRAT Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory; Demo-Labor Party Boss Tim
Burka; Cincinnati Vice Mayor David Crowley; Dave
Lane, chairman of the Clermont County Democratic Party; our Disingenuous
DemocRAT Hamilton County Auditor who was allowed to run unopposed; along with
Jeff Balding and Little Lord John Joseph Cranley IV).
For once in his life, Huggable
Howard (shown here getting it on with DemocRAT Paul Hackett) is getting it
right. He nailed it when he said “The worst thing that could happen to
the Ohio Republican Party right now might be
for Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann, a Youngstown
Democrat hip-deep in a sex scandal, to take the GOP's advice and resign.
“Better to let things stew for a bit.
“Stew through this fall's campaign - with a presidential contest in Ohio that might decide who spends the next four years in the White House and with Democrats eyeing a chance to take control of the Ohio House - and then stew some more, right into the 2010 election cycle when Dann, Gov. Ted Strickland and the rest of the Democratic statewide officeholders are up for re-election.”
Way to go, Huggable! Even a
stopped clock is right twice a day, as the Official Voice of the Conservative
Agenda, the Whistleblower predicts that every day Marc Dann is still in office,
somebody’s going to be reminded with that video of Depraved DemocRAT Attorney General Marc Dann when he was
running for office, when he actually told a cheering crowd:“I
want
you to hold us to a higher standard. Are you willing to do that? If you elect
us to office, we can give you government that you can be proud of again in
Ohio.”
And the best part of all of
this is that we’re actually starting to see a few Marc Dann jokes. Daily Bellwether Publisher Bill Sloat even sent us “Ohio
